Valu-Notary takes our customers' privacy very seriously. The information below explains how we protect the privacy of your personal information.

the Authentication and Service of Documents Section of Foreign Affairs and International
Trade Canada, if customers request us to obtain authentication of documents on their behalf;
consular staff of an embassy in Ottawa, if customers request that we obtain or inquire about
legalization of a document at the embassy on their behalf;
where customers consent; or
as permitted or required by law.

Our Web Site

We collect personal information about you when you use the Valu-Notary web site only if you provide it to us, for example, by completing a form on the "Contact" page of our web site to request an appointment or to make a general inquiry. Our web site does not use cookies. We do, however, monitor visits to our web site and collect usage statistics on an anonymous basis. Your identity cannot reasonably be ascertained from these usage statistics. Upon visiting the Valu-Notary web site, our server records your Internet Service Provider, the date and time of your visit, the pages you access and the referring URLs. This non-personal information is used to improve customer service.

Our web site provides links to third party web sites solely for the convenience of customers. Valu-Notary is not responsible for and accepts no liability for personal information collection, use and disclosure practices of third parties. Please review the privacy policies of these third parties before disclosing any personal information on their web sites.

Your Consent

We collect, use and disclose your personal information with your express or implied consent, or as permitted or required by law, in accordance with this Privacy Statement. In general, your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by Valu-Notary may be implied by your request that we provide services in which the personal information is relevant to the performance of those services by Valu-Notary.
